and telecoms within Europe, Asia, USA and Worldwide. A vibrant
and ambitious company, experiencing rapid expansion through
acquisition and organic growth. Having started as a smaller
business entity with a relaxed informal culture, the need
for developing a more structured approach to performance
management became evident as the company continued to expand.
Solution: A consultation period with the Directors, to enhance the design
of performance systems and their management of these. Three ‘away-days’ took
place with the Director team, coupled with short skill development workshops
for the consultants – with emphasis upon new business acquisition and expansion
of existing accounts. Following the first series of events, an increase in fees
of 150% was reported, together with the most profitable financial quarter the
company had experienced to date.
